The way I exported the ident was by saving the ident. I went to file export then it transferred in to a quicktime. Now you can watch it with out opening imovie so it looks more professional. It did not work the first time so I had to keep at it and it started to respond then I uploaded it.

I started editing my work once we had finished all the filming. We sorted all the scenes out and cut where we wanted the ending to finish. Next we picked special effects from imovie like a shaking effect and stars so it look like it was from the next galaxy. Then we picked the music and sound effects which went with the ident and set the scene.

We decide on a logo which would appeal to our target audience in line with the brand identity of the grid. The channel is going to show show programmes which develops the theme of escapism so the screen graphics need to reflect this. We found a shooting star in imovie and imported it into our ident i found the font online and imported it.

The ident was quite complicated to film because we were near the allotted time; also this was not our first idea. We were debating to use another story but we felt this would really capture our audience. This was mainly because it was open ended. This leads on to the possibility of numerous idents, each with a different story. This is what keeps the target audience interested and makes them want to watch more.

The reason we use me and George is that we are friends so we would get on well and be able to get on with each other and produce varied work. as the brief is aiming at 18 to 30 year olds with some us sitcoms, we decided to produce a ident which would aim at a mixed gender market with a comic edge.
